盆庭

　東アジアには盆栽や水石など、石や植物を盆や陶器の鉢に載せて飾る伝統が数多くある。

いずれも自然の美しさやリズムを抽象的に表現し、自然の中で感じる内省的な感覚を、盆という空間の中で表現している。私の盆庭は、そのような伝統の中で、新しい素材や思想を取り入れながら、幅を広げている。
